Except Marriage It Works Everywhere Else

Everything is easier the second time and thereafter. I had such a hard time equalizing with my already ruptured ear drum when I started diving a few months ago and I gobbled air very quickly because of my learned panic from my Asthama. Today I went alone and slow in a crevice... not too deep but deep enough to experience 2-3 Bar. I did not have the pressure from a partner to go under quicker. That was good.
Moral of the Story... get beyond the first time quickly on to the second and the third, while learning quickly in the process. IE don't settle for the first deal. Keep going. Errr... except marriage... unless indicated otherwise. I cant think of other exceptions to the rule. Can you?
