Three Musts of Success!
Logan Stout
One of the most common questions I'm asked is, "What's your secret to success?" This is a loaded question with a formula of answers (hence the reason I wrote Stout Advice: The Secrets to building yourself, people, and teams), so there is no one secret. However, there are three primary elements that must take place to truly reach your maximum potential in life: SUCCESS!
1. Be the Best Version of Yourself
We are all either improving or getting worse. We either make our way in the world, or the world makes us. We must control the mental inventory in our heads, and the best way to do so is to feed your mind the right things. Commit to reading the right books and listen to the programs that add value to your life. Avoid the negative junk the world throws at us daily!
2. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
Surround yourself with the best team of people. We all live life in teams (family, work, church, and etcetera), and the better your team the better you will become. Moreover, the better teammate you are, the better teammates you will attract!
3. DO SOMETHING!
The best books and teaching in the world will give you great knowledge and motivation, but you are ultimately responsible for getting off your rear and making things happen. I've found taking action is a motivator in and of itself!
Success isn't nearly as hard as people think, but it is a continuous process. Add a systematic approach to success, and you will be amazed how you can duplicate success over and over again!
